The Resolution 1325 was adopted unanimously by the UN-Security Council on October 31st 2000. It demands equal rights for women and an intensified participation in all peacekeeping or peacemaking measures at all institutional levels. This booklet informs about the UN-Resolution 1325 and brings it into the context of implementation in South Asia.
